Thinking of selling but not sure which agent to choose? Short-list 4 or 5 agents in town and secret shop them posing as a buyer from out of the area to see how they handle the sale of property. See which agents ask searching questions of your buying ability, the type and style of property you are looking for, reasons for moving; any special needs (garden for pets or children/ level approach for a wheelchair etc). Crucially, will they give away a sellers lowest sale price - I.e. will they give away your money on a sale just to get a quick/ easy sale.
